HP Slate vs iPad – True Comparison

Most of comparison of HP Slate vs iPad is wrong, they only show image with no explanation. So, I want to reveal all of the features between two powerful gadgets. IPad has great display and view, with 9.7” 1024 x 768, glossy multi-touch with IPS technology, Accelerometer, Ambient light Sensor, Fingerprint resistant, IPad make us feel comfortable and hope for clear brightness. In different features, IPad has 1GHz Apple A4 inside, IPad can create its own processor, but I think HP Slate has more ability because HP Slate has 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Menlow 2530. With this processor, you can browsing and surfing with no trouble, even still downloading and making design in heavy software that “eat” RAM.

In storage comparison, HP Slate is the leader of storage, I say this because it has 32 / 64GB Flash, upgradable SD Card Reader. IPad doesn’t have great memory, it can’t be upgraded, IPad only has this specs: 16 / 32 / 64GB Non-Upgradable Flash… I am not sure you will choose IPad for more storage. In RAM, I get information about HP Slate that it has 1GB (DDR2) Non-upgradable… on the other hand, IPad doesn’t announce their specs. 1GB (DDR2) is good for new one, you can make fast process, doing multitasking, and so on. I really impressed on great connectivity for IPad. IPad gives us more mobility and great connection, based on its features: 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3G, A-GPS. But, IPad is developing its personal OS, I think it has more bug, so I still want to use Windows 7 Home Premium + HP touch optimized UI in HP Slate. Also, you can use VGA Webcam (Forward facing), 3MP Camera (Outward Facing), you can’t use this in IPad, but you can use in HP Slate. Powerful Camera can record great moments in any occasion.
